Ceramic cartridge for Pioneer PL640 turntable?
February 18th, 2010 by adminNeed a ceramic stylus for a Pioneer PL640 Turntable
Are you confused, or am I?
The cartridge might be a ceramic type but its stylus will be saphire or diamond tipped.
You will almost certainly not find a ceramic cartridge replacement nowadays and it is highly unlikely you will find a replacement stylus either, although they are available for some of the better magnetic cartridges.
If it is the cartridge you want then just replace it with a magnetic one. It will give better results anyway.
