Could you use technics sl qd33 for a dj turntable?
March 11th, 2010 by admini dont know if it will work im trying to start my lil dj console i have a stanton mixer and stanton cd tabletops and i just bought the technics sl qd33 in a yard sale for $10..
thats a home stereo turntable not a dj turntable. your gonna spend more then that. I wouldn’t pick this one up at all.
If I recall, the SL-QD33 is more of an audiophile type turntable (just for listening and not for DJ’ing). I don’t believe it has a pitch control on it. You’re pretty much toast without a pitch control.
If its simply for listening, go for it.
The ones you would most likely want to look into are used Technics SL-1200 MKII. Do a search on those and see what you come up with. u can find them and second handed
