1966 Boots Audio record player works again!
This set was in trouble with no sound from its left speaker.During a clear-up here though,l found the bits to fix it,and now it runs as it should,finally!

1963 PHILIPS MIGNON 45rpm RECORD PLAYER
Here is my very cool looking and nice sounding 1963 PHILIPS MIGNON battery operated 45rpm record player. Imported from Germany, this record player, or “plattenspieler” operates on 4 size “D” batteries and has a hefty amplifier and speaker. I installed a new PHILIPS needle and this beauty sounds GREAT!

1973 Philips 547 Record Changer
This is my 547 Philips turntable, manufactured in Brazil, a very popular record changer here. This unit can play 16 2/3, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm records, and also can intermix the three standard sizes of records – 7, 10 and 12″, altought the larger records must be played before the smaller ones.

Boots Record player
Made by Philips,this is another product branded a Boots,for the chemist chain in the UK.Sadly the left channel proved to be defective,so it may be l’ll have to make another amp,as the original has germanium transistors,now as rare as hen’s teeth!
