Where can I find an inexpensive record player?
February 21st, 2010 by adminIm looking for a very basic player. A friend of mine bought one for 25 dollars on sale, and it basically plays the record, but to hear the audio you just plug in the two simple cables (red and white) to an audio source (like a tv input or stereo)
Ive found similar products but they go for around 100 dollars
You get what you pay for.
A cheap record player means it has a cheap needle and will scratch your vinyls. You can’t even buy a decent needle for $20. You might as well use a nail!!
People buy record players to enjoy the music at its fullest and by plugging a record player to a cheap 5W speaker you basically destroy the whole experience. You need a decent AV receiver/amp to fully enjoy vinyl. If you can’t afford it, stick to CDs or MP3.
