When I try play a record, my turntable lifts the playing arm and puts it back in the cradle?
January 29th, 2010 by adminIT IS A PRETTY NEW record player, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO PRESS THE PLAY BUTTON A THOUSAND TIMES BEFORE THE ARM STAYS DOWN AND PLAYS THE RECORD.
Try looking at the back of the arm, near the pivot point. In some of the older turntables there was a tracking adjuster knob or screw. It would allow you to adjust how far the arm would travel before lifting up and returning to the cradle.
