The yellow placed in a 45rpm record to keep it from sliding across the turntable is called what?

On a turntable you play either lp’s or 45’s.In order for the 45 to be played without scratching the disc, a yellow plastic insert was placed in the middle of the big hole to make it fit the rod that was usually reserved for the lp. What was the name of this plastic insert

A 45 adapter.
