How much to start a record (turntable) system?
October 27th, 2009 by adminI’m looking into listening to good ol’ vinyl and am doing some research now. How much do you think it would cost for the whole start up (excluding records). I’m looking to buy a pretty decent table with good sound.
Probably about $1k for a good sounding basic hi-fi system. For example,
a good Music Hall MMF model turntable, some NHT Super Ones and an
Onkyo TX-8511 stereo receiver should get you started on the right track…
The used market and/or auction sites are some excellent places to find
your best values.
Happy listening!
