How do I record from my turntable’s digital output into my mac mini?
October 25th, 2009 by adminI am trying to record some old records into a digital format. I have a non-Intel mac mini and a turntable that has a Toslink s/pdif digital output. Do I have to purchase something that connects the output of the turntable to the USB port on the mac? Or does the Mac 1/8 jack support a digital input, and all I need is a cable? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks!
Look in the back for a 1/8” input, if not you can buy a 1/4” – to – USB guitar cable and buy the right adapters to make it work on both ends
