Can my turntable/record player play 7" vinyl too?
January 22nd, 2010 by adminSo I know literally nothing about record players/phonographs/turntables as I’ve always lived in the digital age…
I have an old school record player and I know for sure it plays 12". Would it play 7" and 10" vinyl as well or would I need to buy an extra piece?
See if your turntable came with an adapter. It should be able to slip onto the little knub on the center of your platter. It should look like this..

I’m afraid I don’t know where you’d be able to buy this..
But there’s also an adapter for the record, you put this in the hole of your 7 inch record and it slips on just like a 12 inch record (the kind the DJ’s use)
It should look like this..
