A record turntable rotates at 33.3 rpm. What is the period in seconds?
March 2nd, 2010 by admin
33.3 rev / min * 1 min / 60 sec
The principle is to multiply by a ratio(s) equal to 1 so that some engineering units will cancel out and you are left with the engineering units required in your answer.
In the answer I gave "min" cancels out and you are left with "rev/sec."
