RCA VICTOR TRANSCRIPTION RECORD PLAYER TWO SPEED MODEL 257ED PLAYING OLD JINGLES

February 28th, 2010 by admin

Hi Youtubers, here is my RCA Victor Transcription record player playing some of my 16 inch radio jingles. I got this off ebay about a year ago and had the amp redone, it was humming real bad. And I had the cartridge rebuilt with a new needle by West-Tech services. It has the small peanut tubes so I am guessing its from the early 1950’s. Its a huge piece but has a good sound and its a great addition to my collection.I need to find more 16 inch records like a radio show to play on it. I hope you enjoy it !! OXOX

I think you mean the Vouge 78 rpm record ? They were picture disc records made in the 1940’s and very collectible now. Thanks..

Wow Desoto!!! I had no idea they made “portable” transcript players. It makes sense with the Ford 16-inch I bought over the summer. That way they can be use in offices, factories, etc. What a MARVELOUS addition to your already awesome collection!!! The jingles are SO great!!! Thank U so much for sharing this with us!! I’ll keep my eye posted at the record show for more discs for ya! xoxo
