Is there a safe way to store LPs and record player?
December 28th, 2009 by adminIm moving into a smaller house, unfortunately there is no room for extras like my dads record collection and his record player. I have an insullated garage with a cement floor. But I wonder if being outside during the winter will ruin the quality. Any suggestions?
Hi paradigm ,
I wouldn’t worry about a cold garage. Neither vinyl or an electronic device will be damaged by cold.
Excessive heat such as an attic would be a problem.
You will be fine with your garage. Put them in boxes and tape them shut.
