How can I make an MP3 sound as if it is being played on a record player?
January 16th, 2010 by adminI need to get the song Jeepers Creepers to sound as if it is being played off a record player. I’ve been searching for a while. Right now, I’ve just added Record Player scratches and sped the tempo up a bit in Audacity. Any other suggestions? It still sounds remastered.
Play it off the computer speakers and try to record it with a microphone playing off the speaker. Should create that slight static noise that record players create. If you want to intensify that use the usb microphone near a fan on low while you record. Hope that helps somewhat.
