what stylus/needle is compatible with my record player/turntable?
November 27th, 2009 by adminI recently bought some records from a garage sale. The intention was to use them and the jackets as decorations for my apartment. The next garage sale i went to however had an old record player for sale for $10 so i figured i would make a hobby out of collecting records. the turntable seams to be in good working order however the needle/stylus is broken and i have no idea what type of stylus is compatible. what should i order?
What stylus/needle is compatible with a stock BIC 980 turntable? and where is the best place to order it from?
Garage-a-Records. 888.800.7597 I had to get one for my dad for his turntable. They sell a generic moodel that works on most. They will email you a pic (or you can look at it online) to make sure. They were very helpful for me. And inexpensive. Hope that helps!
