My mates dad used to have a wall mounted player, so it played them vertical. Could have been B&O but i’ve no idea.

I still have mine, bought new in 1986. It has an Audio Technica “Microline” square-shank diamond stylus, and it sounds fantastic. These are direct-drive, so virtually no flutter & wow as is common with belt drives, but the motors are extremely smooth. You can pay a lot more for a turntable, but I’m not sure you can find one with much better value.

Great set-up. I want to get that same turntable. I was wondering if you knew the dimensions/measurements of it or where I can find that out. This particular model ends up on ebay from time to time.

    No, this one …
No, this one requires a manual flip. I know the Sharp unit you are speaking of, though. Pretty cool! There are needles on the down and up side of the tone arm to play both sides of the record.

My family was given a Sharp front loading turntable just like that one. Can this unit play both sides of the record without the need to physically turn the record over?
