    The sound is not as bad as most of these vintage record player videos. There is a bit of a bacon and sausage fry up going on at the beginning though!

    i regularly use vinyl and i can tell you this is not CD quality or better.

    yeap they do.. but.. the amplifier of those times.. were bad quality comparing to todays amplifier.. so a vinyl record player with new amps.. will sound better :)

    I used to flip …
    I used to flip through my 45’s by glimpsing at the lable! Never read the titles, knew them by lable. CD doesn’t have that “luxury”…Laurie records was “Ferry cross the Mersy” by Gery and the Pacemakers! I still have a copy!

    The square on the …
    The square on the label is the Laurie Records logo. The cool artwork on record labels as well as on record covers was one of the things we lost when cds came in.
