YES! The needle on a record player is a very special one and not like a sewing needle. Those record players need to be fitted for the correct needle. Check the Mfgr. name and Model, then locate the specific needle that goes with that record player.

Yes. But the needle used scratches records over long periods of time…

duh, cuz the needle used is angled in a way that it will just run through the grooves…..its like n elastic or bendy needle stethoscopy thingy.

I wouldn’t chance it. Get the properer one and don’t chance wrecking the record.
