can i use a needle for my record player?
November 3rd, 2009 by admini think the needle is broken on my record player and i was wondering if i can just jam a needle in there (where the piece is missing) and it do the same job?
No. Anything besides the needle that came with your turntable will more then likely scratch the record. You can go to the manufacturers website and buy a new needle.

A sewing needle will kill your vinyl, they’re too thick and it wouldn’t vibrate properly anyway. Stick to the proper one
