Ce documentaire de collectionneur (comme je le suis aussi dans le même domaine, mais beaucoup plus modestement) de phonographes depuis le cylindre d’Edison, et avec notamment cet étonnant double cornet, est PASSIONNANT.
Bravo pour cette excellente vidéo.

Oh my God!! I’m dying! I know how he feels. If I had it to do, my house would filled with those beautiful machines. I love to look at different models of phonographs and see how the industry changed and changes. My old job had microfiche of repair/parts manuals of the old machines, I used to look at them constantly and learn a little more.

Thanks for posting this interview! Well produced and interesting.
The collector featured in this interview wrote a great book on the earliest tinfoil phonographs. It is very detailed and well written. Phonograph collectors and anybody interested early audio technology should own this book.
