    The Polyphone …
    The Polyphone carriage is completely original.

    I will upload a video of the Biophone one of these days. It works only passably well. The sound is excellent but the power transmission is so inefficient that it’s hard to get through an entire record. It was a silly concept!

    How well does the biophone play? I just watched the film “My fair lady” and I was suprised at how many phonographs were used in the movie and none of them were fake. I guess this is because real machines were much cheaper in the 60s. Sounds great! Is the polyphone carriage origional?
