What are some factors that may cause a record turntable to turn slow?
I just got a new stereo system, and one thing that really sold me on it was the turntable. Sadly, however, the turntable turns at approximately 29 1/2 rpms instead of 33 1/3.

I guess the first question is how would you output music from phonograph records to an input device on the computer? I have many phonograph records I rarely play.

My CD player makes noises sometimes like a record player. What’s up?
The discs are in perfect condition, but I have two systems that do this. The home stereo does it after a few hours of playing, and the car stereo does it on every CD about five minutes after starting (even if I start it toward the end or somewhere besides the beginning.)
